Jann Haworth is among the few women
associated with the Pop Art Movement of the 1960's.
She has had eleven one woman shows between
1966 and 2006 in the UK, USA and the European mainland.

She was awarded a Grammy for her work as
co-designer of the Beatle's Sgt. Pepper Album cover in 1967.

Her work crosses international boundaries:
US-UK, Painting-Sculpture, Craft-Fine Art,
Male-Female. She works to establish a synthesis
between apparent opposites using a clear accessible
visual language with an overt gender baseline.

In her most recent work [Mayor Gallery, London 2006]
she has brought together the visual time-line conventions
of storyboard, film strip, comic, and graphic novel
using oilpaint on cut and sewn canvas.
